Conclusion:
Decent run. I think the wipe at the beginning with the Scorpions is what doomed us. Nice recovery after the scorp wipe though. We were able to almost make it to the 30 minute time extend but fell just short of it. Still 14 people running Dyna for the second time together and we recieved 201 Currency, a wootz ore, and 8 Relic Armor pieces. I'll go over the Choco Stables pull as well as the route we take on our next visit to Bastok with some of th the BLMs. See most of you tomorrow for Soboro.

Some notes on Dynamis - Bastok that bears mentioning before the run.

~ We will probably need two BLMs to handle scorps and stones. After the Choco Stables pull and depending on who shows up or who does not, we may have one of the two BLMs leave and come back as another job. I am most concerned with the scorpion pull at the stables though. It seems to be one of two places that are of major concern to me. Note on the Scorpions, Mages need to have Stona ready for the BLMs. We'll need a time nuke strat on these and Fosgate can probably put one together. Highly advised to not feed TP.

~ This zone has some strange pulling spots. Notably just to the west of the Auction House, Zehruhn Mines, and the SMN pulls in Ore Alley. In these situations, there will be massive mob links causing some pulls can be overwhelming. Particular care is advised when we near these points. By the time we reach these areas, the Auction House loop should be available for kiting. With a good turn out, I will need to have a mage dedicated to curing myself every loop I make if its even neccessary.


If you are wanting to know the direction which I will take the group, this is the plan:

1.) My first objective will be to gain access to the Auction House and make camp there. There is a 20 minute time extend just behind the Mog House wall on the first pull. Another 20 minute time extend awaits us on the farthest western stone on the Auction House lledge. After clearing the Auction House, including the mobs near the Gustaberg Zone and behind the AH for kiting, our first objective will be complete.
Danger within this objective: Obviously the scorpion pull is a big one. Minor Linking on the Auction House.

2.) After making camp at the AH, our next objecting is a 30 Minute time extend on the lower level of Ore Alley near the alchemy guild. There are alot of mobs and stones that stand in our way between camp and the time extend. Haste in our efforts is essential if we are to meet this objective.
Danger within this objective: There is a BST NM pull and a BLM NM pull on this path. One on the platform north of the Auction House, the other just infront of the Alchemy Guild. To make pulls slightly easier, the further into Ore Alley I go, I may need to readjust camp to a closer location relative to the stones im pulling. Also, there is a SMN pull that comes with the time extend stone. Its essential that we get these mobs defeated while the BLM's sleep the avies. Remember my notes from Sandoria. Allow the SMN Quads to follow me and single target sleep Avies. With a good turn out, we should have two BLMs that are very capable of handling this important task. Amberly, the Vanguard Undertakers (SMN) are the primary LS wipers in this grouping. Gu'Dhi Noondozer is also a SMN and he comes first before the Vanguard SMN's. During these three NM pulls, I will be kiting anywhere between 3-10 Vanguards around the AH. Its important to take as many out as you can if things start to look dire.

3.) Obtaining the 30 Minute Time extend in Ore Alley will change our course. We will turn our focus then toward Zehruhn Mines where 3 10 Minute Time Extends await. Camp will be underneath the bridge. Zeruhn Mines is notorious for wipes as statues link with statues commonly causing overwhelming results.
Dangers within this Objective: High linking probability. There is one stone that cause 4 others to spawn and each pops 1-2 mobs each. Slight chance of linking stairway to Zehrun which links an additional 5 stones and 10 mobs. No dangerous mobs to note (SMN's BST's). Ze'Vho Fallsplitter pops with the upper grouping and is a DRK type NM.

4.) Next is the Ka'Dho Cannonball MNK NM. When we pull this NM, no one is allows to go anywhere near Gustaberg, AH, or MH. These areas are off limits as you will die from repops. Cannonball is the last boss trigger we will kill for the zone. No real danger to note.

5.) Mega Boss and with it the 30 minute extension. Thief Sac pull to Bastok Markets. Camp behind Auction House and stay back to avoid the Effigy Shields from aggroing. Pray for kill and the 100 piece to drop.
Danger within this objective: The Mega Boss Low manned is a danger. Zerg it, nuke it, bring down fast. The longer its up, the better chance is has of casting Death on someone. Avoid Effigy Shields walking back to South Gate after the sac pull. Do not run anywhere after the kill as repops are located everywhere on the East and South side of the AH. Gu'Dha Effigy can cast Death, Sleepga, Graviga, Breakga, and Bindga. Mages need to be on standby with Stona and Curaga if need so stand slightly out of range.

6.) Wrap up: Use remaining time depending on how late it is to clear more Bastok. There are no new Time extends.

Rdm/Blm can take care of the scorps easy. sleepga->roll sleep 2 on top -> silence em. As long as we have enough blm's that im not needed as blm, i can take this duty on Rdm. Silenced scorps are squishy scorps.

That's Fine. Lead the scorp kill strat then. From my experience, everything pet wise has been handled by mages. I'll back sanction whatever strat method you have of dealing with the scorpions.

We should have more people for this run then last week. Should be fun

Be prepared though. We may have a contingency plan ready incase bastok is taken tonight. By the way, if you can get to Bastok around Gather Together time, Great! I have no Qualms entering the zone with 6-8 people. I will station my mule outside the zone to hand out glasses to late comers. So if we get 6-8 peeps, were going in with no waiting.

The +enm on Yonin has been determined to be between 24-28 added enmity. Also increased evasion and decreased enemy crit hits. do i hear ninja tank?
